I take my teaching duties seriously and have taken
opportunities to improve my teaching skills. As a graduate
student as Simon Fraser University I completed the Certificate
Program in Graduate Teaching and Learning, a full year course
for graduate students hosted by the Learning and Instruction
Development Centre. Prior to this I also completed the
Instructional Skills Workshop. I believe strongly in active
learning for at all levels of post-secondary education and try
to incorporate student centered learning activities into all
of my course. Further information about my teaching style and
background are provided in my
Teaching Statment. The table below lists the
courses that I have taught at the University of Kentucky and
Simon Fraser University. Full web-pages for these courses were
hosted through either Blackboard or WebCT. The links below
will connect you to the syllabus for each course and further
materials are available upon request.
